L to R: Phil Salick, Rhonda Ford, Rich Salick. Rich and Phil Salick are in the Surfers Hall of Fame.
Each year our Center runs the Massage Tent for the
National Kidney Foundations Annual Labor Day Surf
Contest on Labor Day Weekend on Cocoa Beach.
We have
a beautiful Tent set up right on the ocean with a birds eye
view of the action of the surfers who compete for trophies
and a purse. We were invited to run this event by John
Hurdle LMT who had been running it by himself for years
and Rich Salick former Pro Surfer and Spokesman for the
Brevard County Division of NKF.
Rich has had 3 kidney
transplants. Each one of his brothers have donated a
kidney to him, one of which is his twin brother Phil who
you also see in the picture.
Please check out NKFsurf.com and find out about this years surf contest and all the
wonderful life saving help the NKF is doing. Please join us
on the Beach this Labor Day weekend and get a massage
surf side.
All monies are donated to NKF. See you there!
