Offering Brennan Healing Science, Brennan Integration Work, Chakra Assessment, Massage Therapy and Integrated Sessions of Massage Therapy and Energy Healing
Brennan Healing Science
What is Brennan Healing Science?
Brennan Healing Science is a holistic and comprehensive system of energy healing. Brennan Healing Science synthesizes cutting-edge concepts of quantum physics with the wisdom of ancient healing traditions. Central to the way I practice is using my hands to guide and manipulate subtle energy to address chakra and other energetic imbalances, with the intention of helping my clients achieve more integration and balance. Often, more balance and integration translates into increased well-being and more robust health. Central to my practice too is using the vast amount of information provided by the model of Character Structure, which helps create a broad framework to explore the underlying psychodynamics present. I also draw on the richness of the Pathwork material, but the work is respectful of all spiritual traditions.
BHS practitioners complete a rigorous four-year training program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing founded by Dr. Barbara A. Brennan in 1982. Brennan Integration Practitioners (BIPs) complete the Advanced Studies program, an additional two years of intensive study and practice. Practitioners abide by a Code of Ethics.
What is Brennan Healing Science Good For?
BHS is accepted and used in a variety of settings including wellness centers such as this one, as well as hospitals, hospices, physical therapy offices and private practices. Research, while still in its infancy, indicates its efficacy, and clients say that they value it highly as either a stand-alone treatment or as a non-invasive, drug-free adjunct to other therapies.
My clients report that their sessions:
- Rejuvenate them and create a sense of well-being
- Alleviate pain
- Bring about profound changes
- Help them feel less scattered and more focused
- Ease mental anguish, confusion, depression and anxiety
- Improve insomnia and enhance sleep
- Provide invaluable support during cancer treatments
- Accelerate recovery from illness and surgery
- Reduce the effects of trauma
- Help with addictive behaviors such as eating disorders, cutting and alcoholism
- Deepen spiritual connections
- Support life transitions
What Can I Expect in a Typical Session?
- Energy work that helps to clear, charge and balance your energy field
- Energy work that can enhance your natural healing capabilities, remove energetic blocks that may lead to dis-ease, and restore homeostasis
- To gain insight about how you help and hinder your energetic flow and where you are balanced and unbalanced
- Work that is respectfully done with you lying fully clothed on the healing table (unless you have come for an integrated BHS/massage therapy session, and then you will undress to the level of your comfort and be respectfully draped on the table)
- That all information you share will be kept confidential
- Sessions that generally run about an hour to an hour and a half. The first session is about 1½ hours and includes a comprehensive personal interview, which includes your current health status (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) as well as your health history, followed by an energetic assessment and hands-on energy work. Subsequent sessions include a check-in, an energetic assessment and hands-on energy work.
- Many sessions also include personal process work, which explores the body-mind-energy connection to areas of dis-ease and distress. It is particularly useful at helping clients process and more fully metabolize the emotional components of their specific dis-ease(s).
Fees for Brennan Healing Science Services
$125 Initial Session (approximately 90 minutes)
$90 Subsequent Sessions (approximately 90 minutes)
$75 Subsequent Sessions (approximately 60 minutes)
$35 Chakra Assessment and Suggestions for Balancing (approximately 30 minutes)
Brennan Integration Work (BIW)
I also offer Brennan Integration Work (BIW), designed specifically to support students in the 4-year training program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH) with their personal process requirement, but sessions are also available to the community at large.
What is Brennan Integration Work Good For?
- Brennan Integration Work is a good fit for anyone who wishes to try an alternative to (or complement) more traditional forms of therapy.
- Brennan Integration Work explores psychodynamics within a body-centered and energetic focus, which often unlocks blocked (or out of conscious awareness) emotions and thoughts, and allows them to be more fully processed and metabolized. This in turn often leads to improved health, well-being and more satisfying relationships.
- The work is done within a spiritual framework respectful of all beliefs and traditions.
What can I expect in a typical session?
-
Each personal process session is unique and depends on what’s most pressing for the client. But, in general, each session presents an opportunity to learn more about the self; an opportunity to explore both the difficult and seemingly mundane issues of life that often yield rich material for personal transformation. Always honoring a client’s own inner authority, the work identifies and clarifies such things as: repeating body-centered energetic patterns, the quality and strength of the client’s connection to the ground (and their own body), and the deeper psychological and spiritual significance of the personal issues presented.
-
For students at the school, the sessions help process the myriad of issues that arise during the intensive 4-year training program, both the residential component and the work back home.
-
The focus is on creating a safe space for all that is present (and longing to be present), and not rushing to fix or problem solve.
-
Sessions generally run an hour. Longer sessions are available upon request.
How is Brennan Integration Work different than Brennan Healing Science?
- BIW Practitioners have completed at least an additional two years of training in the Advanced Studies program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing either in Miami or Austria, which included their own continuing personal process work sessions with a Supervisor. The training is a comprehensive program synthesizing many practices and traditions, and providing the hands-on opportunity to practice various body-centered, therapeutic techniques. However, even more importantly, there is an underlying focus on developing the capacity to be, which translates into being a clearer, compassionate presence with their clients. Many practitioners continue their own professional and personal development under the guidance of on-going Supervision.
- The structure of the sessions varies by practitioner. The BIW sessions generally have a more intense focus on a client’s personal process, and are primarily a body-centered, energetic, talking process. The Brennan Healing Science sessions are similar but the personal process segment is generally shorter and is followed by hands-on energy work on the healing table.
Fees for Brennan Integration Work
$85 for 1 hour
$100 for 1½ hours

Massage Therapy
Often people schedule a massage session because they are in pain. Once they find relief (and they often do), they keep coming back because it makes them feel good. Therapeutic massage helps clients feel good at any age. Research indicates and clients report that massage helps to improve their general health, provides pain relief for problem conditions and enhances the quality of their life. Many people find that therapeutic massage is a valuable addition to their health and fitness routines and an effective complement to other health care services.
I use an eclectic approach in my sessions integrating Swedish relaxation and Deep Tissue techniques tailored to my clients’ unique needs.
Fees for Massage Therapy Services
$85 for 90 minutes
$60 for 60 minutes
$35 for 30 minutes
Add $15 for any hot stone treatment
